Biola Alabi is a global leader, an experienced founder and Angel investor with a demonstrated history in developing corporate strategies for Market Entry, Consumer Insight to Technology, Acquisition Negotiation, Sponsorship Outreach and the development of operational models that yield high impact organisational successes. She is passionate about Media and Technology and has worked extensively networking with partners and associations for the continuous development of African technology and television industry. Her travels have taken her to Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mauritius, Namibia, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Fuelling her passion for doing more for the people of her country, Biola founded a leadership fellowship and mentorship program - Grooming for Greatness (G4G), as a way to cultivate leadership in young, aspiring professionals and entrepreneurs. She is also a Non- Executive Director of Unilever Nigeria and Monty Mobile a telecom company headquartered in London. In 2016, she founded Biola Alabi Media Company, providing strategic consultancy and business advisory to corporate entities across Africa. Biola Alabi has become known for her leadership in the community, as well as her skills in media and entertainment management, negotiation, corporate social responsibility and business planning. Biola Alabi is the Publisher of "The Adventures of Lara and Dara", named as the Young Readers Library "Book of Summer" (2019). She is the executive producer of two award-winning feature films, “Lara and the Beat” and Banana Island Ghost” in addition to numerous television shows like Big Brother Africa, Face of Africa, Tinsel, Bukas and Joints, Boxing Telenovela Kona (250 episodes) filmed in Kenya, and the documentary series Great Africans. She is an expert at launching entertainment channels and creating groundbreaking programming for a compelling mix of local and international television. Biola is the host of the Weekend “Arise” Morning Show, on the #2 rated news channel in Nigeria. Alabi has also spoken globally on the status of the African creative arts industry, the opportunities available on the continent, the success of Nollywood and the need for ongoing investment into infrastructure and skills sharing initiatives.
