A new operating model where humans and Cloud Employees work side by side, enabling growth without adding headcount. He is also the founder and CEO of Elkington Electric, building the e1. A conviction-driven effort to rethink electric transportation from first principles, with a focus on simplicity, durability, and real-world utility. Previously, Dave founded InsideSales, helping revolutionize the sales industry by applying data and science to how companies grow revenue. Under his leadership, the company raised nearly $400M from partners including Salesforce and Microsoft and scaled to more than 1,000 employees. A key leader in Utah’s tech community, Dave also co-founded Silicon Slopes to help build a durable startup ecosystem. One that connects founders, operators, investors, and institutions around a shared vision for Utah’s long-term technology future. Dave holds a BA in Philosophy from BYU, with minors spanning Business, History, Japanese, and Hebrew. A Utah native and father of two, he divides his time between building companies and exploring the mountains by foot, ski, and rock.
