Dawn's legacy lies in her role as one of the early pioneers of Imperial Car Rental, now Europcar, a recognized global leader in the industry. She spent over three decades building this fledging business with two colleagues. At the end of her illustrious career as CEO, she stepped down at the end of 2015 and the following year launched into reality TV with her role as the only female Shark in the MNET reality show Shark Tank. Since moving to Cape Town her trajectory has taken a more holistic and intentional direction that focuses on giving back to communities. She helps support small businesses with a strong focuses on women and the youth, sharing her experience, wisdom and key insights into the world of entrepreneurship and leadership. She is founder and CEO of Growealth SA, focusing on developing business and marketing strategies and networking opportunities to companies and individuals. In 2017, she partnered with Lesley Waterkeyn in Over the Rainbow, a social enterprise that strengthens the entrepreneurship ecosystem through training, mentor ship & support to small business and start ups to help build sustainable and successful businesses.
