Dennis Wong is the CEO of Intrax and is passionate about connecting people and cultures through experiences, with a vision to build a more inclusive and connected world. As the CEO of Intrax, Dennis leads the organization, guiding its mission into the next generation and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit envisioned by its founders. He leads the Executive Team and directly manages Accounting & Finance, Technology, Global Media, HR, and Program Development. Dennis has a BS from Brown University and MS from Stanford University. While starting his career in engineering, he followed his passion, which led him to design, technology, and entrepreneurship. Upon joining Intrax, Dennis grew inspired by the impact cultural exchange can have on our communities and future generations. He has a strong commitment to International Exchange Programs and is using his diverse skills to grow and develop Intrax’s wide range of programs. Dennis is also the Founder of Colorbloq, Founder of Aetypic, and Co-Founder of Campsyte, and is an entrepreneur and investor in sustainable experiences. He is a creator in an ongoing evolution that began with architecture and led to modular buildings, coworking, events, and technology. His design thinking spans websites, apps, architecture, urban infrastructure, sustainability, and feng shui and wabi sabi principles. He taught himself coding and started building websites and computers in his teens, while also dabbling in art and photography. Dennis is inspired by the intersection of design and tech. -------- After spending some time in urban infrastructure, architecture, real estate, education, travel, and technology, I've decided to devote my life to rethinking how communities are built and how we can build a more inclusive and sustainable world. Our communities, our cities, and our planet have become less inclusive and more fragmented, and this will only get worse. Can we disrupt a century-old model of urbanization and globalization? Our communities need to return to a human scale, with emphasis on the human experience. I believe we can build better communities by reconnecting people, breaking down barriers, and creating purposeful experiences. Problems can't be solved by building more and bigger, but rather by changing habits. And you can only change habits when you deliver a product that is 10x better than what exists. Let's get started.
