We are a private investment firm investing in frontier technology and founders that change the world. Dolores Capital is the family run investment arm of the Johnson family, named after and honoring our beloved Matriarch, Dolores. The Latin root of Dolores means pain, but is often looked at as sacrifice for its roots in reference to the Virgin Mary.

We invest in seed stage companies with angel-sized checks, larger investments in growth stage and pre-IPO companies, and partners with emerging managers as an LP.
