About the program
The “Fondation Genevoise pour l’Innovation Technologique” – FONGIT, is Switzerland’s premier innovation incubator supporting innovative tech ventures in Geneva. Founded in 1991, Fongit has an excellent track record of building successful companies. We are a private, non-profit foundation, benefitting from the support of the State of Geneva. Our mission is to transform technological innovation into social and economic value in the Geneva region.

The FONGIT Innovation Fund (FIF) provides three types of financing to Geneva-based startups: a FIF Grant of up to CHF 50,000, a FIF Seed Loan of up to CHF 100,000 (granted as a convertible loan), and a FIF Growth Loan of up to CHF 400,000. Funding cannot exceed 70% of the project's total budget.
