PledgeLA Fund for South LA Founders
Providing entrepreneurs with access to community, mentors and critical resources through no cost, no equity programs in LA
About
We’re thrilled to partner with PledgeLA as we officially launch applications for the PledgeLA Fund for South LA Founders $25k + training/support for Black & Latinx founders!
Grid110 is an accelerator aimed at supporting emerging entrepreneurs to build and grow strong, sustainable businesses. We do not take equity in exchange for participation in our programs, nor is there a fee that companies have to pay to participate. This relationship enables us to have more flexibility in our company selection with regards to the business model, product, or industry of companies invited to join our programs.
After five years of successfully running Grid110 in Downtown LA, we are excited to expand to South LA. We recognize the talent in the area and have put in place the curriculum and resources to unlock the potential. After launching our inaugural South LA program in July 2020, we’re excited to follow it up with the Winter 2021 program in partnership with PledgeLA.
The best ideas have never been bound by zip codes. But access to the capital needed to scale them is not equal – especially for Black and Latinx entrepreneurs. That’s why PledgeLA launched the Fund for South LA Founders – with help from their members, they’re raising $500,000 in non-equity funding for Black and Latinx-led businesses.
