Earth Tech Accelerator

CSI’s Earth Tech is a six-month accelerator for those working on climate or water technology solutions that will positively impact communities and ecosystems across Canada. Earth Tech helps early-stage startups and nonprofit social enterprises validate their solutions, advance their technologies, become financially sustainable, and create meaningful impact. 100% of ventures in our 2020 cohort reported receiving useful knowledge, training and connections. Run by the Centre for Social Innovation’s Climate Ventures, with education and coaching provided by the Social Innovation Institute, Earth Tech is made possible through the generous support of the RBC Foundation and Bullfrog Power. During our climate programs, participating early-stage ventures have earned and raised nearly $32 million while supporting 376 full-time jobs.

Participants receive free workspace at Climate Ventures in downtown Toronto, bi-weekly one-to-one coaching with Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, office hours with advisors, workshops, and access to a network of funders and investors. The program caters to pre-Series A, Validation or Efficiency-stage ventures with Technology Readiness level 3 or higher. There are no costs to participate.
