FAROS was established in collaboration with the Port Authority of the Ionian Sea (Taranto) and thanks to the support of Port XL, the first world port accelerator. Faros aims at strengthening the relationship between startups, corporate stakeholders and public administration throughout the development of a more comprehensive value chain in the field of the blue economy, putting innovation at the heart of processes, governance and outputs. Selected companies will have access to an 16 weeks acceleration process, mentoring activities, an equity pre-seed investment of € 65.000 and other potential seed and follow-on investments.
